Florida Department of Education - FIH is licensed (#3448) as a Hypnotherapy School through the Florida Department of Education's Commission for Independent Education. This ensures that FIH maintains very high standards and signifies that its diplomas and certifications are valid and backed by the State. American Council of Hypnotist Examiners - The ACHE (#198-146) is one of the oldest and most respected organizations of Hypnotherapy Training in the world. Its requirements include: State-Licensure, Certified Instructors, Approved Examiners, Oral, Written and Practical Testing, and a Code of Ethics ensuring professionalism and integrity in both Hypnotherapy Training and Certification.
Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges - FIH is an an active member of FAPSC, which works to provide leadership, support and advocacy for quality career education. FIH participates in the high educational standards of FAPSC which assists in the constant improvement of Admissions, Compliance, Education, eLearning, Financial Aid, Management, Marketing, Operations, Placement and Retention.
Hypnotherapists Union Local 472 - (#4697509) As Florida's first State-Licensed School, FIH consistently works to raise the standards of the practice of Hypnotherapy. Our School's Director, Matthew Brownstein, is the Florida Representative for the Hypnotherapists Union. This alliance was created to protect the "Free and Open Practice of Hypnotherapy," as well as to offer our graduates the advantages of being a member of a union, so as to be affiliated with the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations) to assist in all legal and legislative efforts. Union membership and certification is optional for FIH graduates, yet serves as a powerful adjunct to FIH's continual movement towards high standards, graduate success and valid credentials.
